hi friends,
I am from Tamil Nadu.I don't experience any rainy season. For Tamil Nadu it is now rainy season. It starts from October to December. These months there would be some heavy rains. But still there are no rains.
I think the main reason for this is due to cutting down of tress and clearing of agricultural areas for building apartments and houses.
The Government should immediately take some actions to prevent the clearing of agricultural areas.
What are your opinions my friends?

Hi sami,
It means in Tamil Nadu you people get less rain this year, isn’t it. I am from Kerala now living in North. Today morning I spoke to my sister-in-law and she told me that they are tired up with the rain and heavy raining is going on still. This year Delhi also received large amount of rain and am not sure about the reason. According to reports Delhi get this much rain fall in the year of 1945 then this year Delhi received heavy rain.
I agree the cutting of trees is a major reason for getting less rain.

Hi,
Of course,People in TAMIL NADU get some rare rains.Particularly in my city the rain has not been pouring for a long time ago.Three months back My city received a slight drizzle. In Kerala rainy has been consistent and often for the people. This is because people grow there many trees and plants. So they receive good amount of rainfall.Even Delhi have also received rainfall,I agree with you. There have been also heavy rainfall .Cutting down of trees is a major problem in my city I guess,Hoping for rain in my city soon.

Hi,
I think Kerala state has so many educated and intelligent persons. The people in the state are very clever as they plant trees not only for rain but also to reduce pollution and save our homely planet EARTH.I am also appreciating the GOVERNMENT for taking necessary steps for the safe of the state. In my city I think no one cares about the EARTH.They are all selfish I think so,other wise they would have not cut the trees for roads and drainage system maintenance.

The rains have over the years been less than adequate over South India. But i'm your neighbour from Andhra and this year the rainfall here is excess.Tamil Nadu unlike Andhra and the other Southern States receives rainfall from the north eastern monsoon
and not the south west.As you say felling of trees and reduction in forest cover are adding to the problem. There should be more greenery as it might induce rainfall.

Come on.I live in southern part of india, kerala, and here it rains every now and then.I feel like rain is very annoying because here it rains thruoghout the year except march-may..I am not sure if it has anything to do with agricultural land because you wont find many of those in kearla. But cutting of trees might have been a problem ,i think.Drought is there in north india also.
