Have you done something kind for someone... or been on the receiving end of a thoughtful gesture ? care to share your heartwarming story ! I became friends with my neighbor he is 79 and was lonely his wife passed away years ago.. so i became friends with him and began taking him food over for lunch and supper .. as i cooked for us.. and then one day i ask him to go walking with me at our indoor pavillion.. and he said yes and now we go every day and we usualy walk a mile each day.. he is a sweet old man and very funny to be with so i enjoy our time togehter walking..one day after we walked i ask him if he wanted to go to this active day center and see what kind of activities they had for people his age he said dont you want to be with me anymore i said sure i do .. and we can still walk every day i just thoguht you might like this place too.. so he agreed to go and we did and and while we was there .. i really like the place alot and i decided to ask if they were hiring and they said yes and since i had experience they did a interivew on the spot.. and i am suposed to go to work mon and see if ilike it and then get my schedule.. if every thing works out.. i know already i will like it but i would have never thoguht to apply for this job if it were'nt for taking mr ed there that day.. so im thankful .. now i will have a job that i will enjoy doing alot and will be very rewardingto me as well... please share your stories of helping others or your good fortune..
