Google has now seven test cars that drive by themselves! They drive with minimal human interaction. The advantages are that the software will choose the fastest way (= less fuel consumption), the roads will be better utilized (all self driving cars will work together), accidents will be avoided, ... ! Of course there can be some errors or bugs into that software so accidents can be caused because of this as well.. What do you think? Should Google go further with this development or not?

I can't wait until we all are "driving" auto pilot cars. That would cut down on accidents and there would be no need for traffic lights. Then we could all just sit back and enjoy the ride instead of stressing about other drivers. You could even take a nap or play some games to pass the time! I Robot had those kinds of cars and it seemed like it was way in the future but I guess it is closer than we all think it is to becoming reality.

Why not? If they can help make life easier and safer, then there's no reason why they shouldn't do it.
