lemme think what you think about this. Windows is like driving a submarine, Open windows and your problems will begin. windows is to open, so easy viruses, even i can make a virus that most virus scanners cant find but mac is to closet you cant do much.

to be frank it may be windows or mac any thing is the same. windows as large share in the marketing and hence most of the virus created are for windows. if mac as the same share as the windows then it would have same about of virus attack every day for sure. if i am not wrong, once there was no anti virus to mac but now you can see them, as the share is increasing, focus will be on it. this is not my view its experts view too.

but in windows you can even quite easaly mess up the folder of the os in mac that isnt as easy as it is in windows, and i can make a virus for windows within a few hours that will make ppl trow away their computers if they dont know much about the computer itself.

ye but there are a lot of programs that doesnt work on your mac and you mac is a little bit slow ... and a lot expensiver! and just dont go to dangerous sites and you will be fine :)

if you want to buy a apple computer that can do the same as my PC it will cost you 1200$ , i bought my PC for 550$ so apple is bad...

mac isnt expensive apple is mac = the OS the newest is like €29 apple = the hardware is expensive

windows is open source to viruses.You pay for viruses and them to get rid of them you pay for antiviruses.I am safely behind my favorite Ubuntu.Piece of mind...

you dont have to pay for anti virus , microsoft has a good and free anti virus (it doesnt work if you have a illegal windows version...)

if ya all wanna compare os's then why has everyone left out linux --- first on price it cant be beaten as its freeware and also if you like mac because there isnt many people using it so there arent that many viruses out to attack it and as far as the hardware cost you can install it on your pc .. you dont have to go out and get special hardware like you do for mac

forgot to say that there is even less people using linux and being as its freeware there is so many versions of it that its alot harder to make a virus that will attack linuc because you need to know the version of linux in order to make a virus that will attack it
