Many people want to make money online because they feel it's will help them achieve freedom - financial freedom, control over their time etc... Many of those people talk about making money on eBay. I don't understand how it is freedom?? It's not an easy job to sell stuff on eBay. You have to respond to e-mails, find and deal with suppliers, resolve disputes and much more. It doesn't seem like such an easy task to me.

No it is not a easy job! Only 4% of auctions actaully sell on eBay. If you have stuff around your house you want to sale go for it but don't just start a store thinking you can make a ton saling stuff on eBay. I have had a clothing store and we also sold on eBay. It wasn't super sucessful. But this economy is a lot to do with that. Good luck!

Well you can either have that 4% of hope than to have nothing at all.:)

if you have a nice and rare stuff you can sell there, and i think you can sell with high price then you can get much money.

It's impossible to make money with no effort. You only get out what you put in. i do surveys and things including mylot for money and it takes a while to get up some sort of pocket money or just enough to reach pay out. I also work with affiliate programs which i have spent endless hours promoting. E-bay isn't that great and they charge a fortune in fees so I'm not sure that you'd make all that much off each sale cos the overheads are quite big.

No, I agree. I have sold a few things there and it was not easy in any way. So I do think it is a lot of work, unless you can hire someone else to do it for you, which I know some people do, in order to make it easier for themselves..

The answer to your question is yes and no . It true you can make great income ebay and if you have the right item too sell. It has became more buyer friendly and the buyer has more rights than the seller now which i think is wrong should be 50/50. for example buyer can leave negative feedback on seller but seller cant do the same say if you dont pay. Ebay get you also 3 ways on fees listing, after auction final fee, and then thru paypal fee.
