Cignal digital TV broadcast for LCD TV

Hi my fellow MyLotters! So we have bought an LCD TV lately and I was already expecting that the quality would not be that good when watching television channels from our typical cable service provider. I guess those local cable provider like, "Home Cable" and "Hi-Tech Cable" were just sending an analog signal which is just similar to using a regular antenna with just added channels like HBO, Solar, Cinemax, and more. Right now, I'm considering to try a digital cable provider like "Cignal" which I only saw from a billboard and caught my attention. I searched the net about it and it was also available in our area but with a bit expensive initial payment because the kit was required to be purchased too. Before investing for the kit and subscription, I would like to ask from you my fellow MyLotters if you have tried using "Cignal" or any other digital cable service for your LCD TVs. What are your recommendations? Is it worth it or does it really improve compared to typical cable service or antenna channels? -)
