One of this days I am craving for street foods like tempura, fish ball, mangoes, pork barbecues, banana cue, balot pinoy and coconut water. Ahh! I really miss those kind of foods where I eaten when I was in my college days. My classmates and I have fun eating those street foods. Very delicious! I hope I could eat again together with my friends in college. And you guys, did you ever craving for street foods? what kind of street foods you like eat? Share your thoughts with me. Have fun.

Fishballs are the best it takes me back to my early school days like you me and my friends would gather around the old man with a cart and just hang out there and eat fishballs. Nowadays carts have a lot of options I honestly love it but have no access to it now since I'm not in school anymore and I've moved to an area where there are no real street foods. Just the imitation ones, the fancy ones that are a very poor substitute. :P

It's a whole lot different at home or anywhere else than when you're eating right beside the noisy and polluted street from an old man with a cart lol! It's more authentic when you get it from the real street food vendors not like the fancy ones in nice villages or food stalls at eateries. The authentic ones are the ones in carts really. Those I love. And I never knew tempura was available now as a street food! That is so cool! Haha I have to get out to the real streets a lot more I'm beginning to miss it.

I've been craving for fishball, squid balls & tempura so much that I wanted to learn the recipe how they make the exactly like the one sold on streets. It ended up either too sour or too salty. lol! I eventually gave up & just looked for vendor on the street the next day.

I have those cravings sometimes. I love tempura the most! And I also have the same experience as you. I can recall when we were in high school, my cousin and i were classmates. We really enjoy eating tempura because it is really yummy. And my other classmates liked it too. When my cousin come back here in our place, we would go and find tempura. We can actually finish as many tempura as we can take. There was one time, I was done with my duty. When I went home I craved for tempura and I walked 2 blocks just to follow my craving. I love mangoes too, especially those green ones with bagoong. I eat it all the time, when ever I see some stalls selling it.

Hi Jaijaye! Every Sunday after attending mass, we always eat street foods like fish balls and scramble. Occasionally, we have taho in the morning and late in the afternoon it's isaw. Lol. Now, I'm hungry...

I'm craving for street foods too, every time when walking on the street, I couldn't control my eyes from glancing at the diverse delicious foods that is so appetiting. Here in China we have hundreds of categories of street snacks, like baked sweet potatoes, baked coin cobs, fried eggs, fried chicken drumsticks...including fruits and nuts, a lot more that I can't name them in Chinese. They are either sweet, or sour, or hot, or spicy...you name it, we have it. I'm so piggish that I almost always stop to buy some and walks along while eating. It is a kind of enjoyment of life. waazula.com

I remember every Sunday after the mass my husband and I used to eat fish ball with super spicy sauce. My eyes are teary due to spiciness but we really love it. I was always looking forward to that day. I felt as a treat for us. I feel guilty, sometime my mouth will water while hearing the homily. I want to get outside and eat fish ball then we will found out that the food cart is not there. So we resort to buy other street food like bbq or hotdog and some quail eggs or kwek- kwek with lots of vinegar and onions. I really miss those days. I want to taste the smoke and sauce of a street vendor. I tried to make it at home but it does not equal to the taste the the street food offers.
