I have a lot to work on and many deadlines. I am writing this to just cool off. I have to take some work home and do it at night. I have a professional exam in 3 weeks time. How do cope with many things jamming together?

I always force myself to do the things that need doing and just focus on one thing. I have sometimes the same deadline for several things, then I have to decide which one is easier. The hardest one I do first. That's because it will require the most research and patience to understand things. And sometimes I might have to ask for other people's help and I wouldn't want to leave that on the last minute, because that can take time too. Also I guess I am the bad news first kind of person. But that's what I am used to doing anyway and I have managed so far. The toughest thing is not procrastinating and starting the work.

Just take things one at a time. Looking at everything can just cause more stress. When I had a ton of deadlines all at the same time, I just kept plugging away, and family stuff got delegated to the husband. That meant that we had pizza two times in one week, but since I had that time to get work done with not having to worry about cooking it was not the end of the world.

I think I should tackle it with time management. Set your priorities on top of the list of your to do so you finish them accordingly. I have that problem, that I can't do deadlines if I do it's usually crap.

Just lists from top to least priority. Do some actions with emergency and then try to relax of course. Panicking won't help either. I can manage tasks as long as i love what i am doing. It would be hard to do things in a hurry when you feel bored. Doing something esp with workloads needs passion, interests and determination.

I would prioritize them. The earliest will have the highest priority. Life is at such. Always the case of time not enough.
