why is my computer slow?!

This is so weird and frustrating. For some reason my computer runs slowly when I play simple games like luxor or zuma. I was on you tube looking at some new release video games, and suddenly the graphics sorta slowed to frame by frame and this continued the rest of the time I was on the computer. I checked for viruses and that did not seem to be the problem. I am also careful not to overload my memory. what could this be? I don't play real advanced games on my computer, but I love looking at video game reviews on you tube and gamespot. what do I do? Thanks in advance to all those who share their ideas with me.

Yeah mine is slow too I dont know whats up with mine either. Though there could be any number of things wrong with it like your internet speed has dropped, or you could have registry problems also viruses that haven't been completely removed properly. There are ways that viruses attach to your computer and if you dont close that extension it could still be there hidden and sometimes our virus protection cant find it. As for my computer its nearly 4 years old and over that short time I've put it through its passes so there's no telling why mine is acting up, but I hope you can get some better answers members are typically really helpful here so maybe you might find a remedy to the slow PC blues haha.

your computer may contain too many heavy files. Try your check and delete the files that are no longer in use or file is not important. Make a clean disk and defragment
