Hi, No, it's not okay. The Paypal usually asks for additional information like photo id, or an address proof. If you've already entered your identifying information in your Paypal account then there is no way you can link your momma's credit card with this account. But if you have not entered anything that you think is exclusive to you, then you can surely link it. In that case it will be treated as your momma's account. I hope you've understood the issue here. Thanks. God bless you.

I have all the information needed. I havent tried linking the card yet cause I wanna make sure that someone has already done what I am planning to do. I also wanna make sure that everything will be fine after that. My mother also doesnt know a lot about paypal and she just let me do anything as long as she doesnt have to pay for it.

I think if you have to ask... the the answer is probably no. The question is ....What does she say about?? It is her card.

Of course she said yes! That's the only thing I am going to do anyway. I just need to link her card to mine so that I can remove the limit in my account. After that then that's it, no more transactions made right after i remove the limit.

I think you may want to get your Paypal account verified. If you just want to receive and send money, it is not necessary to input a credit card information. In my opinion, you may not link your mother's credit card to your Paypal account because the credit card's name shall be the same like your Paypal account. But perhaps it is better for you to consult Paypal stuff, they will reply to you soon. I love China

To verify your paypal, you need to link a credit card. I dont have my own credit card so I am asking if its okay to link someone else's card in order to get verified and remove the milt in my account. I am going to do that transaction only and after that no more.

I guess that's not problematic, credit card just needed to verify your paypal account. And that's done just once time. I also do that, use credit card my friend to verify my paypal account. Most important is when you use credit card your mother, you must notify your interests to her, don't let your mother was surprised to see a paypal transaction on her bill sheet

I dont see any problem in doing so cause you have done it and I think you have been using your paypal ever since. Thanks for sharing your idea. Its a relief to know someone has already done it before.

I think it will costs you a lot in every transaction if you are going to link your mom's credit card. How about having yours? Is it very difficult to have one? I don't have any idea about credit card applications. I hope you can have it soon.

I think it wont cost me anything cause I am gonna be using her credit card just to verify my paypal account and remove the limit. Its okay to get another credit card but if I am going to do so, we are going to have 2 (EON Cards) already. And we really dont need two, do we?

It's perfectly safe and it does remove the limit for receiving money and sending money to others.I have my credit card and bank account info registered to papal and i am fully verified.Basically to verify a paypal you need to provide you bank account details like branch id and transit etc. They send 2 small micro payments of a few cents to your bank account and they ask for you to enter 2 of them to verify your bank account.Very easy and simple to do and after that you can send money and recieve it and get money from your paypal directly to your bank account.

The problem is its not my credit card. I wonder if that's okay. My husband has a credit card and he already linked it to his paypal account and I wonder if its okay to link his card to my paypal account. I just wanted to remove the limit and that's it.

We have customers who used to do this in paying us and i think it is ok. They can even link their gf's card on their paypal account, how much more if it's from a family member. But you might try to check on Paypal on how to do that, i think you need to provide proofs that you have the authority to use the card and will probably take time.

I already have the proofs though. I have all the information that I am going to need and I think its a relief to know that someone has already done it and nothing went wrong. I think I am going to do it now so I can remove the limit asap.

Good! If your friend was able to do it then so can I. The account names are different and wonder if that matters cause paypal will only be looking for the credit card number anyway.
12 Oct 10
I wouldnt do it. Security online isn't as good as you think, and I would have a hard time risking my card number out there, much less someone else's.
