Ever thought someone didn't like you online or offline?

The internet has so many variations of social networking; something that is there to fulfill everyone's needs. Have you ever requested to be someone's friend that you thought for sure that they'd accept? Not, for you to be a pest or anything like that, but rather for you to genuinely interact with? I have done it to others and I have had it done to me. At first when I sent the friend request, I had gotten a bit offended when it wasn't accepted. However I've grown up past that and now know that everyone isn't going to be interested in the same things that I am interested in. Everyone has their own lives as well. How did you feel or has this ever happened to you?

I would never expect anyone to like me or not to like me. I believe to be with myself to anyone. If one may not like me, I would not care because I know it is their right and cannot force anyone to like me. Of course I would feel bad when someone declines my friend request, but I would feel good after. I will not take that single rejection ruin my day.
