Do you have any strange fears and how do you cope with them?

Are you comfortable with your fears? Most people won't admit their weird fears or worries but this is an anonymous online world so I believe it's easier to be honest. Please don't list common fears, like insects, dark, heights, etc. Respond only if you have something less ordinary...For example, I can't sleep without covers because I feel vulnerable. I'm afraid that if I don't get completely covered during sleep, the bad guys/monsters will get me or something. :D

My weirdest fear is knowing you. Right now I feel that I might get to know you. Hopefully not.

Not really Adamgray1337. Once you get to read my posts you'll see who I am. @Christinelle it's just what I felt the moment I was typing on this discussion. Don't worry it'll change as I have proven, only change is constant in this world. Fear is something we feel, right? It's just what I felt that time. Now, I fear nothing.

Oh yea and I freaking hate mustard. One time i broke up with my gf after 2 years cause she chased me around the house with mustard and thought it was funny. I have a friend who is absolutly terrified of wet t shirts. He can put them in the washer but he cant get them out, he has to have someone dry his shirts for him. I watched his girl friend slap him with a wet t shirt one time and he threw up all over the place bahahaha.

my weird fear is the fear of the mascots. I mean, fastfood mascots sometimes, well okay most of the times freak me out. I do not mind seeing them - but they cannot come near me because i will feel really bad - i'll have my heart pounding so hard and I will be really nervous. When i was so much younger when they come near me.. i'd be crying out of fear... now i am able to control that.. i'd just be surprised and might shout at them, even haha

When I was a kid, my uncle dressed up as Santa and put on a mask. Then he rang the doorbell and I opened the door. I still remember how much he freaked me out! I don't think those characters are really for kids :D

My heart beat terrifies me, isn't that weird? If I even feel like my heart is beating strange or too fast or too slow, I will not be able to sleep that night because I will be convinced I am going to die. It's so annoying. I have gone days without sleep until I literally pass out, and everytime I wake up I am in a frenzy. (This was before I was on my antianxiety medication, though! LOL!) Now that I'm on a benzo, though, my life is so much easier. I had actually forgotten how completely ANNOYING my mind is about my heartbeat until I couldn't get my medicine for about two weeks and hardly slept. It affected my social and work performance. I even cried at work because I just thought I was doing such a miserable job. It was AWFUL. But I have them now (after a panicked call to the hospital for no good reason and a useless ride in the ambulance *sigh*) so I am so much more calm :)
