You don't have a star yet because you have not reached a User Rating of 100. When you do, you will see your MyLot Reputation which is a star with a number (1 to 10). This shows how well your discussions and responses have been received by the MyLot community. If you observe the Guidelines and post good quality discussions and responses, you are more likely to be rated well by other members of MyLot.
