Childhood dreams: Was it fulfilled?

When I was a kid, I used to dream that I would become a teacher. It fascinates me somehow during my early school years that teachers are just something to me who holds authority and all that. But things changed when I decided to took a college course. I didnt had a chance either to teach even in informal settings. Looking back, I wasnt able to make my childhood dreams come true. How bout you, did you, were you able to fulfill a dream you once desire ? Please do share. Thanks.

When I was a kid, I wanted to be an architect. That did not happen. I still draw, but I never had the patience to go to school for it. I ended up going to school for Sociology. I now have a passion for business. I received greater joy opening my own small home based business, but who knows what the future holds?

I wanted to be a teacher to, but a art/craft teacher for the younger grades. I do teach some of the kids in my family crafts but it isn't the same. Kids are so fun to watch when they find they love art/crafts they can be so expressive and have so much fun. Maybe someday I might still teach, I am only 36, never know I might be one of those people that go back to college when I get older.

Nope, none of my childhood dreams come true. That's because all of them have changed.^_^ I mean sure we all do have childhood dreams but as we grow up and grow old, our dreams would become different. So those childhood dreams remain as that: childhood dreams. Of course there are those people who carry their childhood dreams over to adulthood. Perhaps because they were given the chance to possibly fulfill it. But for those of us whose mindsets change because of our environment and our priorities, our dreams would change according to that and the opportunities that are available to us. That's just what I think anyways.^_^

well, now that i am working in an office setting i may say that i did not fulfill my childhood dreams. Anyway my job now helps me a lot so i have nothing to regret of not fulfilling my childhood dreams. But, still my childhood will remain, and i hope someday i can still fulfill it.
