My Newest grandson was on his way. I spent a couple of days up In Dodge City helping the new mommy and daddy get started . Adry hadn't slept hardly at all in days before he was born and Sam was up for the most part with her . He was very involved in the Birth of his son . I am Proud of my Boy ! Seriously I thought he would have to escape or something but he hung in there.
I spent the first 5 hours the baby was home alone with him after I made his mama and daddy go to bed , A grandma with Ulterior motives .. They get rested and Memom and baby gets to Bond.
After a couple of days though I was ready to come home I hardly slept while i was there and my back problems were giving me heck .
Okay so my question when you go somewhere like that for an event how ready are you to come back home ? I think if they would have had a recliner (LOL) I would still be up there .

I know that this is a bit late, but congratulations, Memom!
I think that it depends upon what I am doing and how comfortable I am where I am staying. I went for a couple of months to take care of my parents when my dad had surgery, and it was difficult at times. I thought that I wanted to go home from time to time, but it passed pretty quickly. When I got home I was glad in a way, but I also really missed being at my parents' house and being with them.

Adry got that Mirana put in so she wouldn't have to worry about getting pregnant for awhile and apparently the thing fell out and Uhoh.. The baby is another little boy due aug 27 . I am hoping to be able to go stay for a few days to help them out . I have always been there for my daughter and she has 3 kids. 4,2and 6 weeks.

Wow, they certainly are an active couple ... and will be even more active once they have two babies in diapers! Congratulations again, then.
When is the next little one due? Do they know yet if it is a boy or girl? Are you planning on going there to stay for a while after this next one is born like you did the last time? I am sure they will need even more help this time.

Well Congratulations Sweetie and I am so glad that your Boy managed to get through it to lol we always think that they will not manage and then surprise us lol
No matter where I go I am always glad to get back home in my own Bed and talking about Bed it is time I went to mine lol

Looks like Coop and Sophia are going to have a little brother or sister this next May. I Seriously wish Aarika would slow down in the kid having department for awhile. I love my grand babies but Aarika and her 2 lives with us .. Memom Needs a break...lol
BTW How is our sweet Little Gissi? I Lost my Ashlee a couple of months ago and I still see her all the time or start to call for her and remember she is gone .

I think its great that you were able to be there and bond with your grandson. Its also nice that parents get some well needed rest when it comes to new babies.

The first grand baby lived with us when he was born so mama had all sorts of help with him .When the second came along I drove to town each day to help her since she had a C-section. I know the value of help . My mom was there for me when my kids were born.There was only one that we lived too far away for her to be there very often and that's the one I had a harder time with depression after wards(he was my 4th) I was tired..LOL.
