Is death easy??

So... there's this new movie coming out called "Hereafter" that will be starring Matt Damon. If you're not really familiar with this actor, most people know him as the guy from the "Bourne Identity" and "Bourne Supremacy".. etc. The concept of this movie is about how people experience death when it has come upon them.. and it makes me think what really DOES happen when people die?? Or when I will die?? Is it pleasant... or could it be terrifying?? I know that there is a significant difference between dying peacefully and being murdered or something like that... but what I wonder whether one finds inner peace in the last few moments finally accepting the inevitable. What are you all's views?? Do you think death could be easier than we all expect??
