I Remember When I Use To bob For Apples At School Halloween Parties / myLot

Hi Mylotter I was wondering if any of you remember bobbing for apples at Halloween parties either in school or at home? This was a tradition for our school back in the 70's I really enjoyed it. I remember when I first tried I forgot to hold my breath as I tried to bite down on the apple and pick it up out of the water

Needless to say that wasn't good a little to much water got into my nose and I had to let go of the apple My teacher let me try again and I got it the next time[em]thumbup[/em

I used to annoy people because I was a really good apple bobber... don't know why, maybe because I have a big mouth?

Hi Elic LOL I have a big mouth too

and even though I bombed out at my first attempt I got pretty good at it as I got little older it kinda helped if the apples weren't really hard because it was easier to bite down on them but I don't like soft apples I prefer harder ones

Yeah:)That's oneof my favourite parts of ceebrating Halloween.Definitely do the same this year:)

Hi Pecito Are you doing it at a home party your having ? I haven't bobbed for apples in ages! Not sine I was a kid but I really enjoyed doing it at school we would all look forward to the Halloween party because that was our favorite game to play
