I had tried to loss some weight since when i was 25 years old. Now i am 30 and my weight is 94 kilograms. Three months ago i started to go out and make runninkg workouts almost every day. First i runned 3 kilometers, then 6 and after some weeks i was able to run 10 kilometers easily. At teh same time i wanted to chek out how i am loosing my weight. So every day I climbed on the scales to see my progress, and i was really happy surprised when i saw about 2-3kilograms decreasing in my weight scale per month. After three months of running I was sure that I've already lost 10 kilograms. One day as always i climbed to scales and saw something that i didnt expected - my weight was 54 kilograms. Then I realized that the scales are broken and all these three months i wa slooking at the wrong weight data of my own! I was broken. I found another, perfectly working scales and sclimbed on it and saw that my real weight loss was about one kkilogram for all three months of active running.

that's a shame. anyway you are obviously doing enough exercise so you need to change your eating habits, maybe eating less altogether or just cutting down on fat and sugar.

dry weather all year? not fair. anyway personally i am not in the least interested in football but i suppose most people are. scotland never gets in the world cup for obvious reasons so most of their energy at this time is spent supporting whoever england are playing against.

I guess I'll chime in :) It is all about calories! The first law of thermodynamics say that energy cannot be created or destroyed - it is simply converted from one form to another... With this in mind one can picture their body as being a bucket of sorts. Eating adds energy too the bucket and exercising opens the spout at the bottom. If you expect the amount of water/energy/flab :) in the bucket to decrease one needs to empty the bucket faster than he/she is filling it. What you've been doing with exercise and eating healthier is great and will make you feel better and decrease your risk for all sorts of nasty diseases - even if you're not losing weight. But if the goal is to lose weight, there is only one thing you need to do: simply burn more calories than you eat. Energy is just converted from one form to another... :)

Yeah - your efforts will serve you well to make you healthier and not eating after a certain time can be helpful. But be careful, calories are calories are calories... some people might try the same approach and just 'squish' or 'condense' their calories before 6:00pm - without actually changing how many calories they are eating. So that approach will work great if it results in one eating fewer calories each day. Because the only sure way to lose weight is to burn more calories than one eats! It is such a pain to have to learn how to track everything, but according to my belief it is the same as with almost everything else in life - if one doesn't get one thing, it is likely that they wanted something else more. Best of wishes!

Ahh, that's too bad, I guess, but hey better you lost something than nothing! Plus, you probably gained some muscle mass in the process too, which can add weight to you (but you're still burning fat). Also, it's about eating too. If you run 10 miles every day but then eat an extra 1,000 calories..Well, it's kind of reversing the effect, you know? Anyway, congrats on the small weight loss. And good job! Seriously, it takes a lot of dedication!

You know what really makes it much easier to lose weight? Cutting down on carbs, such as potatoes, sugar, rice and pasta and bread. You can still eat whatever you want besides thzt, just try to minimize the amount of carbs you eat. This is what I do whenever I want to lose a bit of weight, and it really works!

Thanks for fast response :) I even dont know how sugar taste since i am not using it, but it is in many other foods that i eating as a food additive. As for the rest you mentioned i love rice and eat when i can, but rice is not popular in my country and family at all, so i am not eating them often. patatoes and bred is the most used food here, but i am alreayd trying to reduce them in my meals.

cutting down on carbs does work short time but is not a good idea, especially if you are doing a lot of exercise. your body needs carbohydrates. better is to choose complex carbohydrates instead of simple ones, like wholegrains instead of white flour or sugar.

Rules of Weight Loss To lose one pound of fat, you must burn approximately 3500 calories over and above what you already burn doing daily activities. That sounds like a lot of calories and you certainly wouldn't wantto try to burn 3500 calories in one day. However, by taking it step-by-step, you can determine just what you need to do each day to burn or cut out those extra calories. Below is a step by step process for getting started. Calculate your BMR (basal metabolic rate). Your BMR is what your body needs to maintain normal functions like breathing and digestion. This is the minimum number of calories you need to eat each day. Keep in mind that no calculator will be 100% accurate, so you may need to adjust these numbers as you go along. Calculate your activity level. Use a calorie calculator to figure out how many calories youburn while sitting, standing, exercising, lifting weights, etc. throughout the day. It helps to keep a daily activity journal or you could even wear a heart rate monitor that calculates calories burned. Keep track of how many calories you eat. You can use a site like Calorie Count or use a food journal to write down what you eat and drink each day. Be as accurate aspossible, measuring when you need to or looking up nutritional information for restaurants, if you eat out. Add it up. Take your BMR number, add your activity calories and then subtract your food calories from that total. If you're eating more than you're burning, (your BMR + activity is 2000 and you're eating 2400 calories) you'll gain weight. If you're burning more than you eat, you'll lose weight. Instead of Do this 1.An afternoon Coke 1.Drink a glass of water. 2.An Egg McMuffin 2.Eat a small whole wheat bagel +1Tbsp of peanutbut 3.Using your break eat sweets 3.Walk up and down a flight of stairs for 10 min 4.Hitting the snooze button 4.Get up 10 minutes early and go for a brisk walk 5.Watching TV after work 5.Do 10 minutes of yoga.

you get vitamins in vegetables too, and these are not usually expensive. you are supposed to eat five portions of fruit or vegetables a day. doesn't have to be fruit and in fact probably shouldn't be all fruit if you are trying to lose weight because fruit is high in sugar.

Your activity has increased, and you're finding it easier to run, so obviously your fitness has increased, so that's all beneficial - you should be happy with that, and don't get demotivated. I agree with the advice given so far, just try to eat healthily. Also, you should use a tape measure to measure your statistics. When you work out a lot, you may lose fat from your body, but at the same time, you will increase muscle mass. Muscle weighs more that fat, so while the fat is coming off, you might not see a change in your weight, because your muscle is gaining weight, but if you take measurements, you should be able to see some improvements in your body shape.

ok, but how about genes? My father and mom is crumy, so my body shape thanks to my trianings is sturdy athletic. I think genes play some role here too. For example i am streeching splits at my fitness workouts, but still its wery hard for me to get some progress here, also i have stiff joints. Whereas my wife is not practicing but is very flexible.

Do not worry about your weight. You are running every day. The best exercise you are performing. Your legs muscle gets tightened. Control in diet is not necessary. Your health will be healthy. On performing exercise , if you do control your diet that it may create some other health problem. As long as you are healthy and are able to perform your duties comfortably , you should not worry on your weight. in-case, if your over weight creates ,other health related problem , then and only then you are to worry on your overweight. I have seen a lady with over weight who was undertaking many hard works and she is healthy.

Hi iDivision! Running is a good exercise. I guess it must be in your diet that is why your not loosing weight. Base on my experience whole wheat makes me gain weight. What worked for me is that the only meat I eat now are sea foods and chicken. No pork, no beef. In a week I've already seen the difference in my tummy, lol. Also, no potato chips and sweets for snacks. If I want a snack I eat fruits or a sandwiche (white bread) cause as I've said whole wheat makes me fat. Try it!

Have you tried seeing a doctor? I've read your post and your comments and it seems like your diet is great on paper. You're exercising, you've minimized your caloric intake and you've switched to complex carbs, yet you say your weight hasn't changed significantly enough. It could be because you have a sluggish thyroid. Losing weight takes time. 2 lbs a week, I could be wrong about this though, is the safest rate of weight loss. Anything more would stress your body out. Just keep on doing what you're doing and be patient. Good Luck!
