Your regrets....No regrets

Before,I regretted a lot of things in my life, just like being not serious in school. That's why until now I haven't finished college yet. I took several courses before ending up in architecture. I was careless on making decisions for myself back then. I never thought of the consequences of my actions. All I wanted was to have fun even it was having a bad implications on many areas of my life. I was thankful for I was able to get out from that kind of leaving. Yes, I regret the things that I did in the past, though those things and experiences made me a better person, someone who is more mature and tough on facing life. Everything is just about 'balance'. How about you what is/are your regret/s and how did you cope with it?

My biggest regret is not continuing with my education instead of leaving before finishing high school. I was offered a job when I was sixteen and I decided to take it instead of going onto university. I wanted my freedom and my own money so I cut my education short for a job. I since went back to school in my forties to study freelance journalism but I wish I had at least tried for a degree. Aside from that I have made many mistakes throughout my life but I am not so sure I regret them because they have shaped me into who I am today and I must day it is not all bad!

That's girl power! At least you made a way to get back on track. I understand if you chose earning over schooling. Most of us wants to prove to himself/herself that he/she can stand with his/her own feet. What important now is you are able to get back on track.

I think the best part of trying different thing is that you come out more experienced and you certainly know when to hurry about doing different things and when not to. I you are in the right direction as you can accept your mistakes and are ready to mend the ways to make things right. The most important thing is that one must try, whether you succeed or fail is just the result. When you have tried, there would be a mental satisfaction that you tried. Its not so lightly said "most endangered state of being a complete failure is not trying and then failing, instead it is when one doesn't try due to fear of failure.

I really like the way you respond to discussions. You're such a brilliant man. You are right,by making an effort to make things right you'll not have this 'WHAT IFs' in your mind.

I've also regretted a lot of things in my life. The thing is, i wouldn't wanna change anything. I regret them, yes, but i'm happy at the same time that they happened cuz, as you said, i wouldn't be the person i am now if it weren't for those experience.

I use to say I didn't regret anything because it made me the person I was. Sense then I have done things I defently regret doing! I would rather not put it out there because some are personal and some are financial. The out come of those choices have made my life so much harder! I know once I work through and over come all the obsticals that have made me feel this way I will be able to go back to saying I don't regret anything because it made me the person I am today. I just need to make sure I keep on the same path as I am now to get there.
