Modern our all sector of life going computerized ,that computerization also influence our reading habit. That gave us to new way to reading that is e-book(electronic book). A electronic book is a text and image based publication in digital format.E-book have lot of advantages portable, easy to transfer one location to another, easy to find from on line, some books are down-loadable free from INTERNET. on the other hand is Printed Book. Most of the book publishers provide a e-book with their printed book. Now I am using these two way (Printed Book and E-book) of my reading.I thing using printed text is little bit better than e-book. Friends tell me your opinion ? which is best?why?

I suggest Printed materials are good. Because it's always good read from the printed papers as long as we wish, but we would get some problems in eye if we concentrate much on the screen in the e books. Some would say, e books are cheaper than printed books, but this is not the fact, printed books are cheap, once u have bough the book, u own the book and u could read it as long as u want and u spend no money after buying it, but coming to e-books, u have to purchase online first and whenever u read, u have to switch on the computer, more electricity u spend the more u read, the more days u read the more time u spend the more electricity will be consumed, so always prefer printed books..

I've read things online, but never a complete book. I don't think I would like reading a book on the computer personally. I would not want to sit in front of my computer and read like that, even if I were in bed with the lap top. I would rather curl up with a book. I like to hold it in my hands, turn the pages, position it where I want, take it along with me for a car ride or have it to read while in a waiting room. Staring at a computer screen for hours reading would give me a headache and make my eyes hurt. Plus reading relaxes me sometimes to the point it puts me to sleep and I wouldn't want to fall asleep in the my chair or with the laptop in bed with me. :D So for me it's the printed book that I will stick with. :)

I still prefer the printed books. I can read it wherever I want. I don't want to read e-book on a mobile phone because the screen is small, and I don't want to carry my laptop everytime...so I still think printed books are prefer. aside from you can collect it and put it in shelves, I can read it even when I am lying in bed....=)

I think for me the printed book is still the best. The simple reason being, I have grown up reading from the printed paper books and there is a comfort zone which has been created in my life-style due to printed books. However, in future the printed paper books will mostly become obsolete and they perhaps would be saved in museum for the future generation to look and wonder about. I think the stage has been set where people are now relying mostly on the digital books than the printed paper books.

I think printed books are still the best because of it being tangible, it adds another experience because of the feel of paper and the weight of the book in your hands. I also like the smell of books so that's another reason why I like it. But in this day where our resources are slowly declining, I think that ebooks are really good alternatives.

I prefer printed books the old fashioned ones (LOL)! I think to have the convenience of e-books is great but I still like the look and feel of a book made out of paper. I almost always carry a book with me which I am reading at the time. I even like the smell of new books!

I'm old fashion also. I prefer to read printed books simply because I can turn pages and its added suspense when you are turning pages. Feeling the roughness of the paper. Unlike in ebooks. Also in ebooks its strain my eyes because of the LCD. I prefer old passion ceiling light if I want to read books.

I prefer printed books as I love to read books. I don't know why others like to read ebook. Maybe its because its handy as you can read using a small screen pad. But for me that's hurts my eyes. I prefer to read paper back book simply because its does not emit light like screen. lols.

Hi Nadeer, True that the e-Books are the in-thing today and with the comfort of many e-book readers, it has become much easy to keep the book at your fingertips when it comes to commuting. But I would still prefer reading a book holding it in hand - The traditional version of the book makes me feel at home and comfortable reading it. I know these books are getting costlier each day but still they are preferred by many. I wonder what the world would do when these become something of the past.

For me, I want to read printed book because if I am going to read electronic book, the radiation that comes from the monitor of the computer hurts my eye-- so, I prefer to read a printed book.

They both have their own advantages. Printed Books is accessible almost anywhere and everywhere. Especially to those that doesn't have electronic gadgets to use or read the e-books. it saves you for using electricity (which also helps nature) and helps you avoid radiation. E-books is also accessible anywhere and everywhere "IF" you have electronic gadgets and given that you you got full batteries. It can save trees cause obviously paperless method. It limits garbage and its lifespan is very very long. and you can store a thousands of it inside a single HD (save space) plus it cost less (if it is an old book(version)) and can be shared by many almost instantly and at the same time. But printed books can also be a help to our trees if publishers uses a recycled papers. I'm still not over into loving a printed books. For me, it's much much more comfortable to hold on to and read on to. I can read it inside the bathroom and also while laying down (shifting to almost every position). ^.^

That's true. I don't read ebooks because its strain my eyes and since I was small I read paper back books not electronic books so I'm more happy changing page to page and put some marker if I want to sleep. Although I don't read books n the bathroom and laying down. I just like to read books sitting down.

According to me E-bbok are better than a printed books. There are many benefits of E-books such as they are quicker to obtain, They are more easily updated & upgrated, you usually get far more than a book, they takes up less space, they don't take up tress for printing, you can do global searches & find information quickly. The technology is better.

I think Printed is book is really good than e-book. Most of the printed has a quality control and fully furnished by the publisher while e-books can be stolen by someone on your computer. There are advantages of e-books but most of it have so many disadvantages.

I am old-fashioned so I still prefer reading paperbacks. I am also not techie. I don't want to carry around Ipad or laptop to read my favorite books. Here in my country gadgets like mobile phone, Ipad, laptop and the likes get stolen. They aren't pretty cheap and I wouldn't want them to be stolen from me,of course. I guess, it is safer and still more convenient to read paperbacks.

I always like printed books because it is easy in read. So I always like to printed books. I think who have no computer then they how can read eBooks. And also then need any computer for this. And sometimes there is some difficulty to read eBooks.

I think E-books are better because they save money on printing. However, Unless you have a laptop, you can't take it with you wherever you go.
