Tendulkar ranked No.1

New Zealand

After scoring more than 400 runs in such a short test match series against Australia, Tendular moved to the Number 1 spot in the ICC test match rankings for batsman. A good score in the second innings is worth more ratings than that of scoring in the first innings. Although Tendulkar scored a double ton in the first innings, he was also remained unbeaten on a 50+ score in the second innings and I think that helped a raise in ratings. Also, in the ICC test match rankings for bowlers, Zaheer Khan moved up to Number 4 from number 6 after some fine bowling performance in the series. thoughs please

Thats really great news !!!! Tendulkar really deserves that spot. ( at least i think that ) Really great performance by him against strong team Australia. He is in good in fact best form of career right now. Thanks for information on it. Zaheer Khan do well too. And i am glad that He is in top 10 bowling ranking. Normally our bowlers don't used to stay on top 10 bowling ranking list :D

Hi VinceMcMahon, Nice to hear from you that Sachin Tendulkar has moved to the no:1 batsman in the ICC test rating. He is really incredible. He is now averaging 97.69 with 1290 runs in 2010 only. From these statistics it is very clear that he played exyra ordinarily through out this year.I think Sachin is going through one of finest time in his career....

I do not think there is any rating system that can rate Sachin any more. He is simply phenomenal. Ricky Ponting briefly threatened to chase his tally of highest number of runs or number of centuries, but then Sachin simply moved up a gear and now Ponting is way back. It was a fantastic team effort by India and kudos to them. But, hats off to the little master!! Cheers! Ram

It is good that Sachin is in 1st positing. He is the best batsman in cricket. Even at this age he plays like a youngster. His passion to cricket and eagerness to get runs is also great. I am also happy that that was sachins 5th doble century. This year itself he has two double centuries. I wish he score more and get the record of most double centuries in his name.

Yes Tendulkar is now number one position in test cricket. Because in this test series he makes more than 400 runs and also they announced as man of the match and man of the series. So it is good that Tendulkar again get their number one position.

Sachin deserves no:1 for his super performance. he became the man of the series for his excellent batting in this series. no doubt he is no:1. and zaheer is the key bowler for india and its good to watch him bowling well.
