Very much afraid of World Cup !

ya indian bowling is weak when compared to bowling. but i feel that zaheer,praveen kumar, nehara and bajji in good form can make the bowling good. but our bowling is unpredictable, so lets hopefor the best.

Its not just the bowling department in which Team India is weak but also in fielding i think that we are the worst in the world. Look at the Sri Lankans.They are simply superb in fielding, so athletic. Maybe the reason why we field badly is because our grounds are hard and dry most of the time and thats why our players don`t like to dive as they feel that they will hurt themselves. As for bowling our pitches are mostly slow and don`t have any bounce unlike pitches from England, Australia and S. Africa where the pitches are hard bouncy tracks. Since Indians rely mostly on spinners our fast bowlers don`t have much practice in fast bowling. Our batsmen also can`t stand fast bowling for the same reason. After the 1983 World Cup ODI triumph,Kapil Dev had appealed for fast paced pitches in India but his appeal fell on deaf ears. Thats why we can`t adapt to pace bowling. Lets see what happens in WC 2011 as it is going to be held in the Indian subcontinent. If our team does not make it to the final or at least the semis, then it is a shame.Talking of Temdulkar, we should not rely on him only, the others should also deliver. Hope our guys will make this forthcoming WC a really fitting farewell for Sachin as he plans to retire after it.

i still hope bcoz in case of bangalore test, the bowlers prove their temperament binding aussies in low score which helped india in victory. the pace trio... zaheer, sree santh and munnaf really great. apart from them we have match winning bowler like nehra and balaji. spin trio bhajji, ojha and jadeja is also fine. tendul and shewag also may play role. so hope is always ever.

I think this is the worried situation about Indian bowlers. But as they bowled in test series then I think if their performance wills continue till world cup then our Indian team can win world cup. Because now our Indian teams are in forms and every players gives their commitment. So this is good for team.
