I met a friend from where I volunteer. She is fun to talked with and we become good friends. Most of the people think that we are sisters because we have same hair length. She is the first friend that I have after I move here. I am happy to have here. Then she told me that she is getting married she invited me to come. She promised to give me an invitation. I waited for that but she did not give me any. Then he volunteer day was over. she promised me she will drop by to give her invitation, so again I waited. I really wanted to attend the ceremony. I am curious about their ceremony. She is a Vietnamese and she have different religion. So I told her that I would be very excited and happy to come. We were giggling like a teen that time. I remember, she told me that her wedding date is 1st or 2nd week of October, but no invitation arrived. Then last night I saw her wedding pictures. I feel sad because I did not keep her promise. She did not invite me at all. Maybe she gets busy? Or she thinks that we are no longer friend because she is not coming back to the center. Well anyway. though she forgets about me I pray that her marriage will be happy.

As i read your discussion i feel sad about it. She might have forgotten her promised becoz she was too busy and that, your short acquaintance is not enough to make her remember her promise. It is her wedding, the pressure and everything. I am glad that you still think positive reason for the negligence or a promised that was broken. Yes,maybe one day she will remember that, back in her wedding day she forget someone whom she had given a promised to witness her big day. I am sure she will remember you,and she will send you a message soon.
