housework--------husband or wife?

who do most of the housework? husband or wife? in my family, my husband usually do the cooking while me do the cleaning work. Every morning,I put the dirty clothes in the washing machine and set the machine then go work, when the washing is finished my husband will take the clothes out. what about it in your family? housework is done by only one person or divided?

like you and your husband, me and my wife also has division on labor. she cooks while i wash. she cleans the house but i am the one who cleans our bedroom. i do errands too and she is a stay at home mom of our four year old son. we make sure that we clean as we go so there is no clutter or garbage or anything that will make our house dirty. it works for us.

In our family the work is divided in half and it sounds that way for your family as well. I believe that neither one should do more work but both the husband and wife should contribute an equal amount of housework to maintain balance and equality.

Usually the wife does more house work than the husband but really it depends upon the situation, if who is available at home to do the work. Especially now that everything is done by modern technologies, example husband before never do the washing of clothes, since there is a washing machine, the husband can easily do the job. Same with cooking only that the wife might do the preparations. At home my children are working and their father is no longer living for so many years, so I do mostly of the housework.

Usually wives doing hose works but sometimes husbands also doing works in house in holidays. So it is good to do help your wife in the house works. Because this make your wife happy and both of you always doing works together.

Bouth like you. I live with my boyfriend. He does the cooking, i the washing of the plates. Every time when he tries to wash some clothes he put white and colorful clothes at the same time, so i prefer to do the launrdy. He'so messy but with hard work we manage to do thigs. (yes, it cause me hard work to make him clean)
