our family, with five members consists of my dad, mom, me, and my two younger sisters...my sisters and i we're so close since we were young.my youngest sister has already graduated and worked far from us to help my dad support our family.my other sister is already married, and has one kid but stayed with us.me, I'm still a student, because i stopped going to college for six years.recently, i used to think what if i haven't stopped college?will it be me who is away now and help my dad instead of my sister?i miss the times when we are still whole during supper.we used to stay up late and watch television.why couldn't we stay in one roof?

Is the reason you stopped college because you want to stay in the house with your parents? I don't see why a mature boy or girl lives with parents. I would expect they want to have their own life and privacy and start being responsible with their own life. Of course there will be times when we miss all the family to be together again, but that can be arranged maybe twice a year?

no, the reason i stopped is because i gave way to my sisters.as our parents cannot support all of us going to college at the same time.and since i'm adopted, so i opted to let my sisters finish first before me.

I can also feel how you are feeling now because my only sister is now married and living in another country, while I live alone here in the city and my parents live in the province. I also miss those days when we all eat together in one table and share our own stories for the day with each other after that. However, we can't stop changers in our lives. And no matter how much as we'd like not to be away from each other. there will be a time when we are going to move on with our separate lives. Well I guess the only thing that will help us be close to them is to have an open communication and visit them if possible.
