How many writing sites do you maintain?

In our efforts to earn additional money online, many of us write for various websites that do pay according to page views. I myself submit articles for 3 websites- triond, bukisa, and factoidz. I think for now I will only focus on these three. I like triond because they are flexible. They accept almost any article you wish to publish. Secondly, if I want to do a more serious informative approach, I submit them on factoidz. Then, after I publish them on these two sites, I can now republish them on Bukisa. So far, these three sites compliment each other. I don't think I can manage more sites aside from these. What about you? How many sites do you maintain?

I also maintain three :) I do Triond, Bukisa and Associated Content. I actually haven't done Factoidz. Do you like it? Does it work more like Triond or more like Bukisa? I LOVE to write so I am always looking for other places to write on :)

You think you can still add more to that or are you satisfied with the three sites? If you don't mind me asking, how are your earnings from these sites?

Yeah, you can ask! :) I get about 3-4 dollars a month off Triond, but it's going up! On Associated Content, I just joined so I am only at about 600 views, but when I get to 1000 I will get 1.50. However they did like one of my articles and gave me an upfront payment of 4 dollars. And on Bukisa I haven't reached 1000 views yet but when I do I will get 4$. How does Factoidz pay?

They pay through PayPal once you reach at least $1 in a month. They payment is processed quickly. It's given every first or second day of the following month. I think you should join this site, too.

I haven't actually tried writing for any yet, because I'm to scared to go from fiction to articles lol. Though, I did join Associated Content awhile back. I'd love to get paid for my writing. Do these all take Paypal?

I know you can still join associated content but you will not be able to receive upfront payment. Your only source of revenue there is according to page views.

I currently write for Triond and Wikitnut. My earnings with Triond are growing each month but I am still pretty new with Wikitnut and haven't been paid through them yet. Bukisa may be in the future but I work a full time job and I'm pretty drained trying to keep up with everything I have going right now.

This is a good idea emvy. I will try to start selling my articles as well, maybe adding this to the sites I maintain will result in a positive progress on my earnings.

Hi lowellhenderson65 - I write for Associated Content, Triond and Bukisa. Since I live outside the US I get less money for articles than a writer in the US would. Triond pays the best and I manage to earn a few dollars from the site each month. I also write for Constant Content, though getting an article approved for submission there is a pain at times. I always wait a bit before submitting my article to any site - 2 to 3 days when it comes to Constant Content. I use the time to proofread my article a few times before submission. I am also mulling with the idea of selling some articles in forums just to see how it goes. People in need of content pay well especially for topics in demand and niche subjects. I shall be selling my first 5 or 10 articles on Digital Point this week. I have decided that if they sell well I will then start selling some every week so that I can add to my online earnings.

Hello, ip5217. I concentrate on Helium these days. It provides me with a good income - not enough to live on, but over $200 every month. I like the variety of titles to write to, as there's always something for inspiration. Helium pay promptly, and there's a good support network if you run into problems with your writing.

That's nice. I hope I can reach that stable income online as well, especially doing this as a part-time. I'm happy cause many of the responses here affirms my strategy. I will not join too many sites for now, not unless I generate stable income from the three sites I am currently in.

I write first on Factoidz and than republish on Bukisa. I also write poetry on Triond. I also occassionally take article writing jobs from Freelancer and Elance (for $4-$6 an article). For those who are very good writers I would suggest you check out Constant Content, you can make some great money there, but your work must be 100% perfect, they are Extremely picky. Have a great day!

Thanks for the information. I think I have to stick with what I have for now. It's hard to maintain all these sites. I might compromise the quality of my work if I become more concerned about the quantity.

I have joined three sites, Triond, Associated Content, and Review Stream. I have not been very active at those sites, since my full time job has been taking most of the hours each day. But, I certainly do enjoy writing articals, short stories, reviews, commentaries, and so on. Writing has been my hobby and my favorite way of relaxation too.

Isn't this awesome?! Our hobby is bringing us some extra cash. Unlike with other forms of hobby, they spend. Writing online is very promising. I am sure this will be the career of the future knowing that everyone is so dependent on the internet nowadays.

I have four personal websites which I am not actively maintaining but surprisingly still provide me income. I am currently focusing on Triond, Bukisa and Wikinut. Occasionally, I will use Redgage. As you said, some do complement each other.
