Your husband's ex is your co-worker

This might be one of the cons of dating and marrying someone who works at the same place.
The scenario: woman and man work at a hospital. They fall in love and get married. Then the wife is gone a business trip and the husband cheats on her with one of their co-workers. Wife comes back and the other woman is all in her face. Husband regrets cheating but the other woman wants him back.
Everyone at work knows about the affair. The entire hospital is gossiping about it. How would you feel if you were in the wife's shoes?

i would be so mortified that i would probably quit my job and look for another one

This would be an easy decision for me, as no matter if we worked together it would be over right away. I have been in several relationships where the men for some odd reason did not take me serious when I said cheat on me once, that is it.
