yes I do agree with you.Very few seem to think like you.I too feel money is important but as you say there are more important things than money.Look around and you will see not all those who have lots and lots of money are happy. There are people who do not have that kind of money but are still very happy and contented. Its amazing to see such people. They are very happy with what they have. Happiness lies for those who cry, those who hurt, those who have searched and for those who have tried. For only they can appreciate the importance of people, who have touched their lives. Thanks for responding and airing your views.

At one time, when I was much younger, I would say that I considered money to be the most important thing. That was because I was starting out and trying to look after my family. Now that I am older, I don't really need so much money. I am not very rich, but it's just me and my wife and we don't need many things. I have my computer and a TV and we keep warm in winter and that is enough really I guess. The most important thing to me right now is to have good health, because I am not so fit as I used to be, and would like to have a high level of energy that I used to have. _Derek

Yes I agree with you as we become more mature with age our views on life do change." "The happiest people DO NOT necessarily have the BEST THINGS. They simply APPRECIATE the things they have". How very true this is.

Yes money is of course a powerful source for us to survive but money should not control our lives. Our lives should control money. If we depend so much of money then other factors of our lives would be affected. What about Love? What about our Family? The relationship with the family should be the one to guide us to control money.

I will confess I wish I had more money than I have and it make occupy too much of my thoughts, but it's not the most important thing in my life. My relationship with my God and my family are much more important to me.

I admit that money is very important in every individuals life. But this is because we need it to buy what necessary thing for us to live decently... But this is importantly that way and no more other concentration to make it better than to serve God...

I agree that without money we cannot survive in this materialistic world where money is becoming more and more important. Money isn't everything but it seems that everything in our life needs money. From the moment we get up in the morning to the moment we put our heads on the pillow to sleep. The only time that we don't need to spend money is when we sleep.

Yes money IS important as an essential, but not the most important... There are certain values that we need to nurture in ourselves and trust me when we DO have these values, we won't have to worry about money anymore as it's because of these certain qualities that we are able to live up until now.. Simply said, from inside out... i.e Determination + Positive thinking + Job that you love = Money this is just an example, although in real life the arithmetic would be way more complicated :DDD

For me, everything is very important to me. When I miss anyone of it, it is imbalance in my life. When I have money, then only I can survive. When I am survived, then only I can be healthy. When I am healthy, then only I can have memory. Certainly, money has no memory. But money can let me have memory. ha! ha! ha!

sure how can we survive without money... its the reason why we have to study and work to support our necessities and luxuries. Everything can be bought with money except love.

money is important indeed but one can stay happy without much money as long as he is in good health. but it takes some things to be contented with whatever we have in life.

I would say that money is important in life. without money nowadays it is difficult to survive especially when you are living in an urban area where you have to spend for almost everything. Right now, it is our priority among other things but it is never on top of our kids. We need money because of them. I can live even with little or even without money at all. If I will just lower my lifestyle to the basic like home, food and clothes, I can survive. But because we have kids we need to give them the best (, that is what all parents want to do for their kids). When I grew old and wrinkly, I will still need money perhaps, to compensate the one who will take care of me....

I would agree, but I do believe money does have it's importance. After all, it's what we use to trade for food and all the other things in life that we need. It also contributes to the memories we make. Otherwise, we wouldn't be able to go on vacations or do anything that is really fun, like disney world or going out to dinner and a movie which my kids seem to love more than anything else. I think both are equally important.

At the moment money is a huge part of my life. About 65% of my awake life is spend making or trying to make money. I am doing everything I can to make money now so I don't have to when I am older and I can relax. My girlfriends is getting anooyed but I am trying to explain to her that it is for the good of our well being when we are older.

money can't bring happiness for you. but without money you have to face with problems in your life. you have to contrive bills and other fees. As for me, money is only a factor to improve our life.
