Good Diet......

There are lots of ways to have a good diet. For me, eating more vegetables and more fruits are most effective to have a good diet. But sometimes maintaining such ways are expensive. The cost of maintenance to buy such foods and fruits are very costly. Sometimes it is hard to find the good one.

Well, it is costly to try to live a healthier lifestyle... But when you weigh things, it's actually an investment because in the long run, you're going to thank yourself for treating your body right... It's like an investment... like saving money in the bank... Because it's going to be more costly when you're going to get sick someday... So just treat your body right today, and your body will thank you someday!!! :)

In my country, fortunatly, there are always veggies on season. Not all of them of course, but what I do is to process them and freeze them to have more posibilities of making diffrent foods. In also happens with fruit: I never buy fruit that is not on season. This year, to help me out more, I´m starting a vegetable garden at home. I won´t have complete success: some bugs are aeting my sweet peppers. But the tomato plants are growing nicely and I have 12 that look that will survive. There are 6 more than look too small. I ate today asalad made with arugule from my garden, one radish and some bought lettuce. I only take away from thelettuce the leaves that I will eat. that way I eat it all. Legumes are another way of eating well and not so expensive. I buy dry legumes and soak them and boil the whole kilo for 10 minutes in a pressure cooker. Then I freeze it in packs of the size I will use. Boiled beans are wonderful for a minestrone made with a chicken carcass soup, lots of veggies (a bit of this and a bit od that) pesto and some parmesan cheese on top. It´s a complete meal, unexpensive, well balanced and good to mantain a nice figure.

Yes, this is a very good way to lose weight indeed. I have also found that limiting the amount of carbs you eat really helps.
