Man: Good or Bad Creature?

I see two opposite opinion about the original characteristic of human beings. One says that man basically is good creature while another says human beings is basically bad. Which one do you agree with?

Hi! I believe in something: Man is born good, but society corrupts the man. That's what i believe, i first saw that teory when i was in literature class. I forgot who said that but i will try to remember! See you!
