POLLYANNA by Eleanor H. Porter

Hayley Mills as Pollyanna - The 1960 Disney version of Eleanor H. Porter's childhood classic POLLYANNA is still a favorite. Mills was also famous for the original version of THE PARENT TRAP (later redone with Lindsay Lohan in the starring "roles") and they mysterious allegory WHISTLE DOWN THE WIND.

Though POLLYANNA was published way back in 1913, it still has raving fans (like me), and has been adapted into movies (including Japanese anime) five times, so far! It's a real favorite among students of the Law Of Attraction, Positive Thinking, and affirmation. And, if you're a fan of Hayley Mills, the Disney movie version is simply unforgettable. Well, am I the only fan of the girl who played "The Glad Game?" (Oh, & two years after the book's publication, Warner Bros. put out a board game based on the book. It was called, of course, The Glad Game!) I'm curious what your experience of the book & the movies has been! :D Sunshine & Blessings, Giovani
