I just would love to see the Longest Walk on the big screen, a novel by Stephen King published under the pseudonym Richard Bachman. What books would you guys want to see turned into Movies? Maybe some directors will catch a clue.

I would like to see Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. Preferably animated, but not in 3d - such things are so overdone these days. Probably also Ender's Shadow as a sequel but nothing after that. If I had any say anyway.

Eh... I think books are better than movies so I'll be fine if my favorites never make it to the screen. It's pretty likely they never will too since all my favorites are published by little know presses and have only a few dedicated fans. It takes one of two things to get a book to the screen. 1) Massive fan support. 2) Dumb luck. The right people read and loved the book and put the right pieces into motion. Directors are not going to get a clue from a tiny thread on mylot, by the way. I don't know that there are any directors here. Plus it's usually not directors who set a film deal in motion... it's producers. And no they're not always the same people. I'd love to see film adaptions for the rest of the Chronicles of Narnia books, the rest of the City of Ember books (But they can skip Prophet of Yonwood. That book was useless.), The Legend of the Guadian-King series by Karen Hancock, This Present Darkness by Frank Peretti, the Dragons in our Midst and Oracles of Fire series by Bryan Davis (There is an option out for the first book of Dragons in our Midst, but I don't think it's a film company... I think it's an individual producer. I doubt the film is actually going to get made), The Dragon Keeper Chronicles by Donita K. Paul, and the Unicorn Chronicles by Bruce Coville. Basically I want to see all my favorite fantasy novels get made.

I would have to pick the Chamber by John Grisham, Frankenstein series by Dean Koontz, or Odd Thomas series by Dean Koontz. I would love all these if they were done well.

All of the books from the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. Loved that series! Of course it would have to be several movies, but still I think it would be awesome.
