First snow here

Haha! I just saw first snow here in my country. it wa snot big surprise for me since it happens every year in almost the same time here, but still i am happy now.
Snow was small and quickly melted. And the same every year - when it is hot here we waiting for cold and snow, but when winter is coming i had enough with todays small snow - i want summer and sun back!

I wish I could see snow in front of me, but in my country we dont see snow we only see rains..

So, you never seen snow before? :o from which country are you then? Even in some southern countries is snow if those countries have huge mountains :)

Ok, i know your country. Many tourists from east europe goes to travel to uae, egypt and several other arabic countries.
You have desert and would like to see snow, while we here have green grass woods and pretty cold weather and want to see more sunny, hot days :)

am From the UAE, the weather is generally hot and dry in summer and cold in winter witha little rainfall.. My country lies in the desert regions thats why we dont have a lot of rain and we dont see snow at all.. but its okey we got used to that.. ^^

Well here comes my California joke of the day.
What's snow?
Seriously, I grew up in Los Angeles, and if anything we might see some snow in the mountains, but almost never down in the valleys. Here in Sacramento, I have seen snow from my house twice, once on the hill behind the house, and once actually at the house. It was pretty much gone the same day,and that was it for the winter.
I kind of like living in a warmer climate where I can go up into the mountains and see snow if I want, or I can stay home and not see snow if I want. Kind of like being a grandparent. :D

I would love to live in climate like in California i think. I love sun and hot weather. And what i like the most is that what you just wrote about choosing by yourself go and see snow or not. Here we all know that in middle of october can be snow and real winter will come in November.

I always look forward to the first snow of the year. We haven't had one yet, haven't even had a good frost yet this year. It's kind of unusual for us to be so warm so late in the year. And you're right! When it's hot, I want it cold and when it's cold I want it hot - or warm, anyway. Never satisfied, are we? :)

Yes. Never satisfied ebough. So i see you are from USA, but from which state or part, region? your country is so big that there is several climate zones on it.

I never see a snow in reality, I saw it only on movies, television and photos. I live in the Philippines a tropical country, definitely we don't experience a snow seasons. In my recent location which I work, although it reaches zero degrees and supposedly it's very cold but no snow at all. I want to experience a season of snow, a real snow not like in the Philippines we can only experience snow but it's artificial. It was inside the mall.

hehe. I think that whereever people lives they want to see more such things which is not common fo their region and basicaly its quiet normal that wepeople from north want to see more south and go travel to those tropical countries, whule you people who live in the tropical weather want to see snow. But never forget that snow mean cold, very, very cold weather at least for tropical reagions inhabitants. We are used to here, while those who come to my country from south feels uncomfortable when weather gets colder.

Hi :) i am from Latvia - small country with just some 2,3 milion people living here. WE have more cold, cloudy and rainy days here than sunny and hot :(
