Million of people pray daily to saints for blessings but how do you view it? Does it reflect God's view?

NO, you only pray to God. The saints can't help you anyway...by the way, if you're a child of God, YOU'RE A SAINT, I'm not gonna pray to you now am I? lol, all kidding aside, just look to the Commandments on that one

As stated in Exodus, God deserves complete attention of humans let it be worship or any other thing. Praying to saints wouldn't help anyone. As they themselves were humans before and well most of them still wait for Resurrection.

yes, very good point most the saint are awaiting the call while the sleep in the grave. So if a religion teaches praying to saints or give them praise as to worship is against GOD'S Law.

Do people actually pray to saints? I have never known that. But for Christians praying to saints is very much wrong. I can request saints to pray to God for me or for someone else, but I cannot address my prayer to saints as if saints are God. For Christians prayer is to be addressed only to God who revealed himself in Jesus Christ. And that is true for every kind of Christians who adhere to the teaching of the Bible. Some people think that Catholics pray to Mary/Saints etc but that is wrong. Catholics "pray" to Mary/Saints to pray to God for them; it's like 'praying' to my friend to pray to God for me.

Hi timelord, The early followers of Jesus referred to each other as saints and there is nothing in the Bible about anyone praying to saints. The term "Christian" was actually first used as a derogatory word. Many people claimed to have been healed of all sorts of illnesses by praying to saints, just as they do by praying to God, so I guess it all depends on what and who you believe. Certainly the apostles didn't want anyone praying to them. I don't think that there is anything inappropriate about about it but I don't see how it can be considered Christian, since Christ didn't teach it. Blessings.

Personally I don't think we are to pray to anyone but God. The saints are there with Him but I don't really think they can help us out any..they are just human just like us. It never made sense to me (not saying I'm right, just sayin') to ask someone else to go ask God something for me. I can ask Him myself.

I think there is general misconception about praying to the saints. In most cases, we pray to God and also ask the saints to help pray on our behalf. It is like, you are in trouble and you ask your friend to pray for you as well. In all cases, we are praying to God and asking others to also pray on our behalf. It is similar to praying in groups.
