do you have separate emails for different things?

I have been having a lot of spam and although aol is good at sorting it out some get through and if I register on a site they sometimes send a lot of emails and it has been known for me to have so many that I have missed an email amongst it from friends so I am thinking of using one for friends and one for sites. has anyone done this and has it worked out or do you get mixed up?

I don't get much spam. I have my mail dot com account for myLot and surveys and my writing and it's very good at sorting out the spam. I have my internet provider email account where I get personal email from family and friends. Then I have a 3 Gmail accounts--one with my real first initial and last name for business purposes, one for communicated with the library and other casual stuff and a separate one for an earning program and a couple of survey sites. Sometimes I forget to check all of them. It's a pain in the neck having so many emails but it seems to work better that way.

thank you. I think more than one email account would get me more muddled though lol

Nope, all my email goes to my one account. Thankfully, Gmail has an excellent Spam Filter, and with the introduction of the Priority Inbox, it's even better.

I have two, one I use for junk and the other one I use for family members and email that I really want to get. This eliminates the need of going through and deleting silly messages in my inbox.

yes sure i agree with ur opinion, we need more email account to support our online activity, i think at least we should have three email account separately for our online site/activity, our payment processor and for our private purpose

Yes, I do this. It is extremely helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to suggest you do this. If you only have the one e-mail now, a second one shouldn't mix you up. It's when people open several that they start to get confused. To help keep them separate, it helps to have the names completely different from one another. Hope this helps!

Yes, I have three email addresses, one for business, one for sites, and one for personal. That helps to keep the communications in order, without getting all mixed up and confused. Especially, I do not want to have the business-related emails mixed up with other emails.

After a few experiences, I am now have a few emails for different purposes. I just do not want to flood my email with spams and so on. Now my life is quite easy whereby there are certain email accounts are only for friends, office work, study and many more.

Hi, I have 2 email accounts,1 for personal use,I use it for friends and family and the other 1 is for my work. Good thing I dont have a lot of spam and if ever I receive I just delete them all. Maybe in the future I would consider creating a different acount for each.
