what should I do?

I have two hours each morning Monday through Thursday as free time. It's when the aid is here to care for my son so that I have some free time. Then on Friday she's here for three hours. Usually I run and then do a few errands. But this week I have a race on Saturday morning so I won't run on Friday, the day before the race. It shouldn't take too long to do my errands so I should have about 2 hours still to just enjoy. I don't have a car, I travel by bike. i need some ideas on how to just relax and get out for that little bit of time...any ideas. (oh, and i don't have money to spend either!)

Thought about heading to the Library! Or to the coffee shop behind the house here!

You are absolutely correct!
And I need to do more of all threee! My daughter is trying to talk me into some sort of yoga.

Going for a coffee is too expensive. I'm thinking if you go to the park and take a book and a Thermos. You can walk around the park at your leisure and then sit in the sun or shade and have a coffee as you read your book. Just relax and enjoy your surroundings no matter where you are.

I have a couple of suggestions...take the book you are currently reading & go sit in your favourite park & just read...or you could take yourself to your local department store & spoil myourself by getting the people in the make up section to demonstrate their products by making you up - you know the ones they do for free? You may just be heading home but you can feel like a million bucks riding home...I'll let you know if I think of anything else.

Hi.macdingolinger.You can always try stopping by your local library and just relax. You can read, get on the Internet and just check out some books that you like. You can also visit the mall just to walk around. Maybe you can go to the park and look at the flowers... Or if you have family, you can visit them on your free time.

Thanks for all the good advice. I am learning how to spend those times.. it's difficult when you just aren't used to it, you know?
