You enter an experimental chamber....

and you are told to stay in the chamber for 12 months. You have no communication with the outside world, they take your cell phone away (part of the outside world communication thing), and are told not to have any TV or Computer inside the chamber. There are no windows, and there is only one light; a light which is of no use to you. You are also told that you must only bring one item of choice, whether it be food or a tool or a souvenir. What would it be? Any opinion is good for me.

Personally I would bring my Bible. Many people may disagree with this, but I think reading the Bible in that time would help me to be a better person.

I understand the sentiment of having a book like the bible with. Being completely cut off from society and people for a full year would be unnerving and many people would break. I have yet to find any deep meaning in the bible. I have read it, skimmed it, looked for advice in it. Maybe if it was all I had, I would finally find that meaning.

The Bible would be my choice as well. I also think that reading the Bible in a situation like this would be beneficial to many areas of my life.

I am going to assume that we will be nourished through out the time we are in there. I do not know if an Ipod would count as a computer. If it does not I would bring my ipod with a ton of music and audio books.
