The future of United States of America

I just read an article in Forbes which states that the USA is divided by hate, politics and intolerance. Cynics have predicted its downfall in the face of growing competition from China among others. To add to its woes the legendary entrepreneurial spirit of Americans is waning. I find it difficult to believe that Americans have lost belief in their ability to do what is good for them. It is true that this is the time for reconstruction and restoration of faith in each other. America cannot afford to fail. I believe it can and will bounce back with the efforts of saner Americans who clearly outnumber the cynics. Do you agree?

i do believe there's problem with such notions in America but its much worse in other places of the world. i do believe people out there need to have the Can Do attitude more. one of the ways to do this would be to quit watching the national news altogether. the national news just sets a negative mindset period and i believe people can do without that. overall, the negativity needs to be done away with. if people can see the many negatives of life then i'm sure they can come up with many positives as well.
