When i started to socialize my self on mnay social websites on internet the first one to try was local, my country websites. there was no problems for me to talk, discuss things, however always are situations when perspective is different. After some time i started to look at worlds biggest social sites like facebook, orkut , Myspace, youtube and several others and then when i joined them and started to participate in discussions problems started. And you know what, i realised why! Because of difference of places, regions, coutnries or even continents we live in. We are different. places we live in determine what we are, who we are and how we think. thats why i am hard to discuss something with americans or filipinos. Especially these things comes out when you must type fast - like in chats. In the chat answer must be given quiclky and in rela time so there is no time to think more and we must say whats we realy think and how we feel. Do you ever feel yourself uncomfortable when discussing, chatting with people from different cultures, regions?

Same things in different coutries have different meanings, it can cause many problems in discussions, like misunderstanding, I think if you want to communicate with people with other religions, beliefs and different meaning of signs, like the victory sign, if you show it in Japan it would mean something else...It's sometimes hard to understand what person wants, especially if they talk using expressions.

Ooops, didn't finish my thought... so if you want to communicate you have to learn everything about who you want to communicate with.

in these days globalisation is so enormous and expanding that its hard to understand whether some forums or webpages is mostly asian, european or american. Most of popular sites are in english languages and it is strange to me when i go to some new social site to check it out and realise that they are all indians for example.

You have already said, it's not about language but culture in different countries, almost all the world knows English, I find it a bit odd that indians would talk or write in English to communicate with each other daily, but from other side everyone is learning English nowadays so things like that could pop up more often.

Only when I run into somebody who is so judgmental that they can't see that there are other ways of looking at things. Otherwise, I've done pretty well with it, and met lots of really interesting people.

Very interesting, and I like it, as long as we can come to some kind of understanding (even agreeing to disagree).
