hi friends. to be frank,i usually dont keep up indian matches if sachin was not playing but lets see. after that memorable 200*,there was this zimbabwe triangular series which we lost convincingly. then there was that asia cup which we won. then the triangular series in srilanka which we lost. now the 2 ODI matches against aussies. he didnt participate in any of the games. zimbabwe is a week one so we can understand the decision. but what about asia cup, srilanka and now aussies? the only ODI matches left are between the kiwis and proteas before the world cup. considering the current form of kiwis,he might even skip that one too. so back to question. he hasnt played a match since feb24th .can we think that he has retired temporarily from ODI cricket?

nope, tendulkar is just taking rest. we should respect his decisions as his dream is to bring the world cup once again. why would he play the unnecessary series just before the world cup ? there are chances of getting hurt and catching injuries which can force him to skip world cup. moreover he is no more a youngster, he is nearly 38yrs old and it is still amazing he is scoring runs after runs. he has scored his test centuries and two double centuries. in odi a double century too. imagine, total three double centuries in a single calendar year. why would he keep himself stressed and tired playing all the matches for india ? he should take rest, keep himself fit so that he can give his best just like 2003 world cup or more than that. his ultimate dream will come true if he can bring the cup for us. the man who keeps scoring runs is also facing others stupid issues like his age, achievements and abilities. does he deserve this ? people all around are to pass comments. can they do the task ? i.e. score as many runs as tendulkar scored ? can achieve as much as tendulkar achieve ? can't they think that it is easy to talk but not to perform constantly ?

our master blaster is getting aged . We want him for the WC completly. So the selectors are giving him rest so that there is less chance for an injury.

What you said is correct. He hasnt played for lot of matches. But i dont think he temporarily retired from the one days. May be he thinks he needs more rest in the onedays. I am sure he will be avoiding onedays so that he will be fully fit for the world cup. He is terrific form now and i am sure he will be in the team against kiwis or proteas. He is also right now giving opportunity for younger players. I am sure sachin dont need any practice games before world cup. He is the leading run scorer in world cup. In world cup sachin will always be in terrific form

Sacin is the God of world Cricket and how you can say that Sachin is finally retired. I think team managements give them rest because next month also new test series will be starting against Nezeland. So it is necessary to give them rest and also now many youngsters play for India so they give them chance for grow up them. Sachin will play the next series because its second last series before world cup 2011.

He is playing too much cricket from last 20 years so participating in ODIs or not its totally sachin's choice.Sometimes he plays sometimes dont.He wants to play for some more time but he wants to play in important matches like world cups and big tournaments. He is a great player and he still always gives his best to indian cricket team.He will retire only when he wants.

No friend i hope he is not retired out from ODI matches.. His long away dream is to win a world cup for India .. If he did not play Test Matches, then it is 100% sure that we will lose every matches.. He is one of the top three seniors who maintains India,s victory in test cricket.. So he must play Test cricket,, And in T20 and champions league he has spent all of his energy to make his team well.. The main thing is he is not 100% fit always,, he has to take rest atleast for 10 days in a month( I studied in a magazine).. If he plays continuously he cant play in worldcup and all.. Always he is in good form we all know.. So it doesnt matter for him to take rest now.. he will surely play a ODI series before world cup and will SHINE in world cup.. He will surely play only the important ODI series upto 2012.. Feel proud to be his fan..
