Greetings!
I love to read! I read daily. My favorite style of books are fantasy, like Lord of the Rings. I have read all the David Eddings, Terry Brooks, Robert Jordan etc. I was wondering if anyone had any good book suggestions for me? I do love fantasty best but will read pretty well anything, mystery, action, Sci-fi etc. Jut no romance!! :)
Thanks much and have a great day!

Look up Tim Myers, Chris Cavendar, they are the same people. I've read a book by Chris Cavendar, and ordered more under their other aliases. They write mystery with tips at the end of their books depending on what the books theme was. For instance, Chris Cavendar is writing book on pizza mysteries, so there is a pizza dough and sauce recipe at the end of one of their books.
Happy Reading! Sorry I couldn't help you in the fantasy book department.

I'm also a big fan of fantasy. Some of my favorite great reads have been The Auralia Thread series by Jeffery Overstreet, The Books of Pellinor by Alison Croggan (YA but still really great books.), The Legend of the Guardian-King series by Karen Hancock, The Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle, and The Icemark Chronicles by Stuart Hill (Also YA but good books are good books in my opinion). Some of my other favorite fantasy authors are Terry Brooks, Ursula K. Le Guin, and Stephen Lawhead.

I've heard a lot of great stuff about the Wheel of Time series so they've been on my mental to-read list for awhile. I will check them out when I get the chance, thanks! Right now I'm working on another Stephen Lawhead series, and after that I'm finishing the Magic Kingdom of Landover series by Terry Books. I love having so many good books to read.

Yeah, I'm a bit behind! I've read up to book 3 and I've got the rest of the books waiting for me on my to-read shelf. I've also heard talk of a Shannara movie, but I'm not sure if it's just an option or if there really is a deal in development. I hope that there is! I love fantasy and I don't think there are nearly enough fantasy movies.

I haven't read the Landover series in years. Wonderful series! I read on a webpage a while ago that there is talk of doing one of Terry brooks series as movies! They were talking about doing the Shannara series. Assuming they do a good job, it would be very cool! There has been more and more fantasty movies lately, some have been very good, some not so much.

I just finished reading them! Great books! I hadn't read them in almost 20 years and really enjoyed rereading them. I found this time through I had a lot more symnmpathy and understanding for Thomas Covenant. The first time I read them he really pissed me off. I guess that the difference in my age. The first time I read them I was 19, now I'm 39, at 39 I understand emotions and disease better. Thanks for the suggestion!

My favorite book of all time isn't in your preferred categories, but I actually learned alot about myself and life after reading it. It is called "The Alchemist" and I can't remember the author for the life of me because its been so long. But see if u can find this book. I think you will find it interesting, I know I did :o)

Ian Irvine and Jim Hines' books. Jim Hines has a series of princess books out that feature strong, awesome female characters. Pretty quick reads for me but worth it.
