Last saturday at the supermarket, there lots of free tastes, and I've tasted pretty much all there was to offer - noodles, crackers, wine. On Sunday, at the mall, there was a food festival, and there was likewise a free tasting event - chocolates, various kinds of desserts, etc. It's a good advertising strategy. There are also free samples for shampoos, conditioners, etc. Sometimes I think that it is good to take from these freebies. You would expect them to be the really good in order to catch the interest of the public. Do you also partake of these freebies?

Everyone likes freebies, inclusive myself. Are those freebies suitable for me to use? This is the question I am keeping for quite some times. For not wasting the freebies, normally I shall distribute them to the people around me. I am sure they will appreciate of the freebies. Do I purposely travel to the place to collect the freebies? No. It is not worth for me to do so.

Wow, how generous! Since it's free, why don't we let everybody else have them, right? I would not purposely travel, too, to get a freebie. It might cancel out the savings I got for not paying for the free item.

He definitely will! It's good to know that charity still exists. In our country, people are also charitable especially when there are calamities. Kudos to you!

In Chinese society, we do a lot of donation and charity works. We have an inherent of doing so. All of the Chinese Primary and High in Malaysia were set up, built and contributed by the Chinese society. If we are not suitable or we are no longer to use certain things, then we will donate to the charity. It has become our culture. God will appreciate of what we are doing.

yeah the best things in life are free: friends, girlfriend and a lot more ;) (if you have to pay for your friends to be friends with them then they are not friends)

You're right! They're called "service providers" If you have a friend or girlfriend like that you tell her "I am not your ATM machine!"

It has taken a lot of years and pain and joy and sorrow to see this. The best things that life has to offer us are free. We just have to be willing to accept them.

I didn't mean for this discussion to be philosophical, but, you're right. No matter how "free" it is, if we don't take it...nothing... But, we do learn. Through pain, and sorrow, and joy.

Free taste is good , I had never tried once though. But it is true the best things in life are free. Like the air, or the awesome scenes in the sky when it is night. But I think the best free in life is the word of GOD, it is free and it could get you way long till eternity.

Amen to that. It is not just free to take, it is also free to share to everyone.

I never skip any of them. Free is good. Even if it's bad, I have nothing to lose, because it's free. I always pay good attention to the marketer too if the marketer is a cute young lady.

I guess it's also a strategy for companies to employ beautiful merchandise promoters. Freebie plus a pretty view. What more could you ask for?

Yeah, that's right. Imagine how awful it would be if we needed to buy those! A lot of people would just die.

I do, I actually worked at that myself a while ago. It's better being the customer. My boss was a real pain in the butt.

You worked as a promoter? (I hope I got what you meant). Yes, it's better being the customer, especially with all these freebies

All the time. I'm always game for anything that's free, as long as I do not have to listen to marketing schemes. I think free taste is the best way to increase one's market. You want to know what you are paying for. It's a great feeling to get something free from this over-consumerized world. I even try those gimmicks that credit cards hold all the time like the free Greenwich pizza from Metrobank.

Oh, yes the credit card perks! When I bought a laptop we had a bucket of chicken. I bought a printer, I think it was KFC, etc.! Well, they're not actually free (you have to buy the thingies before you get a freebie), but, it's still fun.

Hi Gloryacam! I love freebies as well. I think it's the best way to taste or test their product specially if it's new in the market. If I like it, I'll buy it. I'm always curious to try out new products.

Yes, it is. I hate it when I buy a product and discover that I don't like it. So, samples are good, because you're able to know beforehand whether the product is good.

Yes, I did. These freebies are fund. I usually go with my close friends. We taste many different kind of foods in order that we can choose what we'll buy later.
