I pick Chamakh for Arsenal. He has been instrumental in Arsenal picking up points at crucial junctures and has scored winners or late equalizers. He has also added teeth to the final third of Arsenal, so I think he has been the signing of the transfer window this season in EPL.
What is your choice of the best signing this summer?
Cheers!

I can't single out a certain player.
This year with the down-side to English football, I find it very difficult to point out a player who I can claim to be the best signing in my opinion. With teams spending very little, it really falls down to giving more time to tell as when there was many players switching/moving you could notice the disappointments more easily. I can say that Joe Cole as not been the best signing despite being free, he's hardly established himself within the Liverpool team.

I cannot figure it out who the best transfer of this summer was so far. There are too many leagues, too many transfers and I cannot keep an eye on every team and player's performance. Of course Chamakh is a great player who has made a great impact on Arsenal's game, but Ozil is also a very good transfer, Huntelaar for Schalke, Kuranyi for Dynamo Moscow, and others as well. It is very hard to decide, I hope that the best signing this year will be the returning of Toni Kroos to Bayern.
