Do you treat your male cats differently than your female ones?

I must confess that I do. I have become a very traditional pet owner and have created a household in which my male cats get preferential treatment in a very important portion of their lives--meal time. I have four cats, two male, and two female. One male is the oldest cat, and he is the Alpha. The next oldest cat is a female, and there is a big difference in age between these and the next two, a female 1 1/2 year old and a male kitten. And, I am ashamed to say, my male cats rule the roost during meals. My oldest cat is a big orange main koon who is a diabetic. He is always hungry, and always prefers the other cats' food (he is on special prescription food). So, in an effort to keep him from bothering the ladies, I got into the habit of putting his food down first and giving him more snacks throughout the day. This wasn't really a problem until we also got Muffin, our male tuxedo kitten. He, of course, is still eating kitten food, and he HAS to be fed first, because if he isn't, he just squeezes in under the other cats' chins and steals their food! (We are talking about the amount of time it takes for me to put a food bowl on the floor, not a ten-minute interval). I tried to discourage this behavior by changing the order in which I feed them, but no luck. So I have given up all of my principles regarding gender equality, and now always put my male cats' food bowls down first, making the poor female cats wait 30 extra seconds or so to get their food. How about you? Do you give any of your pets preferential treatment?

Only the sick ones. Star is in the office all the time, so she can get her food and meds, but also because she's so feral she's hard to catch! Sassy (19) and Solo (stomatitus) also get fed in the morning with soft food but then I expect them to come out again, while Star gets a second feeding, and sometimes a 3rd. We thought we were going to lose Star earlier this summer, but she's doing better now. Other then that, we free feed the other cats, tho Mo, one of the new ones, needs some special food, but I personally think he's doing better...

I never own any animal pets but still I feel it is wrong and really a sin activity by giving gender preferential treatments over animals. We consider preferential treatments as a wrong one for human beings who have sixth sense. So, for animals naturally it is a wrong activity and I am against it...! One should never do this...!
