Does Gayle deserve this?

Why have the authorities in West Indies chucked out Chris Gayle? The exact reason is unclear but it can be safely said that Gayle has not performed to his potential both in tests and ODIs. He is hugely talented but has been inconsistent as a captain. The West Indian team needs a strong captain to improve its cricket ranking. Gayle can still contribute immensely as a batsman, bowler and fielder to the cause of West Indian cricket. It would be wrong to write him off!

In westindies always there will be some problem for the players with the board. surely gayle didnt perform upto his caliber in the recent past, but chuking him out wont solve the problem.

Chris gayle is one of the best player west indies have right now. He is a kind of player who can change the game on his day, but from some series he is not performing up to his potential. I remember during last year t20 world-cup he said in the media that he doesn't like test cricket and would like to play t20 matches more. May be because of this he has lost he skills in cricket.
