Such a old tale have been familiar to me. That if we excessively drink coffee, sooner or later we will suffer from insomnia, or at least, sleeping disorder. For me, coffee has nothing with insomnia. I have proven that, though I consumed coffee in high dose, I never suffer from insomnia nor sleeping disorder. I will got them only when I got stress. Do you think so? Or do you have different view? Explain.

Drink coffee will make you insomnia? I think its all depend on the person. Because I always always drink coffee everyday and every night I can sleep well :D . My teacher said coffee contains caffeine, that acts as a stimulant of the central nervous system, heart and breathing. So, give side affects such as feeling anxious, sleepless and irregular heartbeat. For almost people, coffee can make insomnia, but that not work for me :D

I suppose it depends on how a person reacts to caffeine as a whole. I am one that it absolutely does not affect me in any way. I can drink coffee a few minutes prior to climbing into bed and knock out like a light.
My boyfriend on the other hand can drink a coke and be up all night.

I think the studies and research point out to the "probability" of
excess coffee causing insomnia. As such, it might depend a lot
on how each individual responds to the conditions and what effect
does coffee has on the individual.
Still, my own observation is whether more coffee causes insomnia, or
not, it does causes a bit of discomfort in stomach.
