Australia does amazingly well to score 289/3

After a very slow start losing the first wicket on 11 and second on 42 they recovered amazingly well to score 289 for the loss of 3 wickets. At the end of 15 overs they were just 51/3, scored their 100 runs in 25.3 overs, 150 in 34.3 overs, 200 in 44.3 overs. Last 89 runs scored in just 5.3 overs thanks to power play by Cameroon White and captain Michael Clark. Scoring 290 runs in 50 overs under flood lights is not going to be easy but anything is possible in cricket. What are your views do you think India can make it?

Of course 290 runs under the floogd light is not going to be an easy task for the Indian cricket team.When I was attending the class I heard the score of 53/2 .At that time I hadn't ever inagined that Australia will reach o such a huge target....

Yes sajujohn, Up to 40th over their scoring rate was so low that it was felt that they will be bundled out for less than 250 but thanks to power play Cameroon White they scored 89 runs in less than 6 overs. That was amazing cricket.

after lossing early wickets aus managed well to reach 289. in last overs they batted superbly specially white. clarke played a good innigs but ended in vain. but it was good performance from australia also.

Ya,Australia batted superbly in the last 30 overs,especially in the powerplay overs. Actually indian bowlers not bowled well in those overs as they were in the start of the match. Any way India superbly chased the target

Yes they are a world class team and No.1 In One day game format, they have to show their strengths, thay played like real champions, though we have won, But they were not bad also, Have a nice day

I am confident that India can chase the target. We go a strong batting line up and with the crowd support over there the player's sprit will be high. And it's fantastic to see if India can beat the total of 290 over Australia. My fingers are crossed but I cheer for India's WIN.
