I believe the way the world continues to evolve it is quite possible as cancer if caught immediately could certainly be cured in total. As the world continues to put out more and more awareness people become more and more alert. Sorry to hear about your sister, God bless her during this time and I hope she has a full recovery.

I did not add as to whether I am a survivor, I have been thus far blessed without having this illness, but have had family members affected by it.

I have a cousin who suffered from cervical cancer too around 9 years ago. So yes, she is almost a 10 year cancer survivor which they say can be said as totally cancer free. She was pregnant when it came to our knowledge, actually she was already in labor then they saw that mass amidst giving birth. She underwent chemotherapy and radiation a few counts so she did not finish the sessions. She grew very weak and thin, her face is no longer recognizable. One day, a message came to us that she was almost dying that her husband gives her piggy back ride so she can go to the CR. My mom brought white clothes if ever cancer succumbs her. Now, all I can remember is that, my mom accidentally met some one who sells a never been heard before food supplement named Ganoderma made from mushrooms. And as I have said she has been living her normal life for 9 years now. Really amazing.

I have to believe that a cure for cancer is within our reach., I have lost many close family members to this tragic disease. There is so much suffering. A cure would be such a blessing for us all.

First sorry for what happen to your sister, i hope everything pass fast and everything come back to normal soon. It happened with my father and my grandfather, so i got big possibilities to have cancer in the future, was a very sad moment when we know but, thx God, we won this fight. I am sure we will have a cure for Cancer someday, and to many other deseases, but it might take some time, i just hope that new deseases don't appear after that.

I pray that there will be a cure someday. I also hope that as more and more information comes out on what foods promote cancer and what foods help to stop it that the cancer rates will stat to decrease. Sadly, I have no good cancer stories to tell, only sad ones. I am glad the Dr. caught your sister's cancer early, Nowadays when cancer is caught early it is usually survivable. Try to stay positive and help your sister stay positive. You will be a huge strength to her during this. Hugs to you.
