Some of you may remember him as Howard Cunningham on the show Happy Days from the 70's-80's. He also did other roles after his claim to fame show Happy Days including an infomercial or two. I know they've been talking about one of his last visits to the area on the news the last day or so. In particular his visit to the unveiling of the Fonz statue along the Milwaukee river. RIP Mr. Cunningham. Here's a link to an article with a slide show and a few clips of his work. http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/39743395/ns/today-entertainment/?GT1=43001

I was really sad to hear that. As good as he was on Happy Days, my favorite TV memories of him were of him on the show Father Dowling Mysteries.

hi 3SnuggleBunnies oh my another of the best has gone now. I loved that show as they were all so good, the Fonz and ron Howard, Mrs c unningham, the whole crew. I feel sort of teary eyed and too it reminds me of my own mortality. I am 84 .I will have to watch that video too

OMG!! This is the first that I am hearing about it. I just loved watching Happy Days, Mr. and Mrs. C just seemed like your great wholesome TV parents. I have seen Mr. Bosley in several other shows/movies. He is a great actor...what a loss, he will be missed.

It is really sad that he has passed away. However, were it not for the fact that I had the opportunity to read more about who he was, I wouldn't have known that he was Mr. Cunningham. I remember watching Happy Days repeats all the time when I was a child and it does upset me to a degree to find out that yet another older actor has passed away. The older actors are the ones that were acting when television really was television. I really don't feel like they are making new and different television shows these days.

For me they are satisfied his life because they reach the goal of Jehovah's gift that the life of the person is about 70-80's.

It's always sad when good actors pass away. Even sadder when it's from disease, i.e. staph infection in his case. He was never one of the most celebrated actors, but I like his work. He brought credibility and humor to his characters. I wish he'd lived a bit longer, despite his age.

He was a very good actor and was very humble as well. We don't see too much of that in the entertainment industry. 'Mr. C.' will be greatly missed.

I did hear that he had passed away. However, I remember him from a completely different that you haven't mentioned. I remember him as Sheriff Amos Tupper, from the show called "Murder She Wrote" with Angela Lansbury.

Another one heads to the doors of a new life with the angels. He lived a long full life. I remember watching Happy Days, day after day, was a good show. I remember some of the kids mimicking the Fonz..lol They sure gave us good memories. Rest in Peace Tom Bosley

I heard about this yesterday and funny thing is I was just watching the movie "The Backup Plan" with Jennifer Lopez and he was in this with Linda Lavin from "Flo' and I was mentioning how bad he looked. Had no idea though that he was that sick. May he rest in peace. His performances made me laugh so many times especially on "Happy Days".

Oh sad to hear and this is the first I hear of this, so I thank you for sharing. I have been quite busy and not attentive to news these days. So sad to hear that he passed as I remember his show so well. It was such an innocent and fun show and he was a great contribution to Happy Days. Quite unfortunate that a great number of old celebrities are in passing these days.
