I already earned a million before I reached my age of majority through an inheritance by the sudden death of my parents. Can you say that I have already succeeded in life? How would you define success? Is money included as a measure of your own success?

I've never been rich, never really had much in the way of money. I think I would say doing well in whatever you are trying to do. Like this week I passed my exams, which is successful for me.

You are successful in your own right and having money doesn't define success. Success for me now is not giving up despite the failure.

Success is how you see your life. it isn't about how much wealth you have. it isn;t about how many friendships you have either. it is how you see your accomplishments and achievements in life. You determine your success.

Well said my friend, but most people think that success is all about money. It's a fact, but reality bites! I haven't reached success yet according to my own definition. And money is never a measure of success for me!

Well responded! That's all I had to comment, but even the meaning of a text isn't in the amount of words, but in their richness and meaning.

my definition to success is that first you face so many trials and learn from it. then you should know how to value each day of trials. you should have the courage to fulfill your success in your life.

No, that was a tragic accident, the loss of your parents, yeah you did inherit a lot of money, but you don't have them around anymore, you don't have their guidance and love. Personally to be successful in life, you need to have the love of people, guidance, education, family those for me all part of success. You could have all the money in the world and be miserable, that to me is not successful. Others may see it differently, maybe because I was brought up with different morals, but I feel that love, trust, and family are all part of ones success.

Indeed it is true. I missed both of them terribly sometimes but I've overcome the grief. I tried to achieve their dreams for me and I'm halfway there. The moment I've attained it, I can say that I'm successful in the eyes of my parents. However, as a wife and a mother to my 6 year old kid, i still have a long, long way to go before I can say I've succeeded.

I am glad so glad to hear that you are trying to achieve their goals and dreams, they will definitely be extremely proud of you. And speaking as a mother of two myself, being there for them loving them unconditionally, listening to all their stories you are succeeding trust me.

Success is when you are happy with all aspects of your life. It is not about money, health, feelings, relationships or any other aspect in this category. Not on there own at least. It is rather about all of those things combined together in the right combination to make you happy to wake up in the morning, smile throughout the day and look forward to the years to come. When you have attained this, then you have attained success. May you find your success soon if you haven't already toniganzon.

It's pretty sad nowadays that the world becomes materialistic. It is to say that some people perceive success as something related to money or what not. But for me, success is measured not by how much money you have, it is measured by how fruitful you live life and how you bring happiness not just to yourself but also to others.

Be successful in life sometimes is called as a successful in life management. A person who earned a million through his strategic, skill management, then he is classified as successful person. You had earned one million through inheritance is just a good luck. You may lose your one million if you are ignorant in managing it.

Success means different things to different people. Discouragement and failure are two of the surest stepping stones to success. Meaning that being successful is a process that you have to go through, and that often does discourage you and fail you. Success can be describe in different ways to every person. One may find success to be fame and fortune, while another may find success to be the simplest of things. Success is not always an attainment of money, it can be many other things. Overall if you succeed in something it means you are satisfying your desires for a higher standard of living.

For me success is when you come true your real happiness.. Money is important because without money you will not survive in this life, but then you also consider your happiness. As of now I'm a student and still dreaming and dreaming to reach success, I want to be rich, I want to make my parents happy, and I don't want them to still work when I'm success. Because that time I'm the one who will provide their needs. But also I want to build my own family with someone I love and have kids in times come. According to hierarchy of needs of abraham maslow's real happiness is when we meet our self actualization. :)

I think earning a lot of money is a very important part of success, but it is not all.We can buy a clock, but we can not buy time; we can buy a house, but not a family; we can buy a marrage, but not the real love. The definition of success is enjoy a happy life that you want even though you don't have too much money.

I think success is like a journey, not destination. You need to keep going on, achieving goals after goals to get the contentment in life, balanced with healthy lifestyle & family, happiness & being respected. Successful in life is definitely not just about wealth, even tough money, indeed play an important role. If you think you've succeeded, means you've reach the peak and facing deterioration in the days ahead.

Success for me means that I can help as many as people in my country. We still get more than 100 millions poor society. So, it is nonsense if I exclude money from my success. I just want to be useful for them. I do not know how to do so. What I know is just I do the little things I can do right now.
